A stylish and convenient apartment in Tours, 1st Floor — There are two one bedroom apartments available in this rather grand and modern 'Maison Particulier'. The renovation was completed in November 2008 as you would expect it is all shiny and new. If you are looking for a stay of longer than 3 nights this is a convenient location to not only explore the attractions of the Loire Valley but make day trips to Paris and shop in the nearby markets and adjoining major shopping district.

The first floor apartment can accommodation up to four persons and would particularly suit a family. There is a lounge/sofa bed and separate bedroom that combines antiques with a little modern flair. Oriental rugs over polished parquetry floors provide a homey feel.

A functional kitchenette with cooker and separate bathroom/toilet. All your conveniences such as TV, internet access, washing machine and dryer, linen and bathroom items are included in your stay.

Rue Belvedere is 5 minutes from one of the most beautiful Parks in an exclusive area of Tours, Prebendes. Ample street parking is available however it is walking distance to the city centre (5 minutes) and the major train station (8 minutes). A luxurious farmhouse in the heart of the Loire Valley — Situated in the pretty riverside village of Bréhémont and set in idyllic French countryside, this accommodation is perfectly positioned to enjoy provincial life in France even if it's only for a week or two.

Your stay will be in a 17th Century farmhouse, tastefully renovated with French antiques and pieces acquired from local Brocantes and the 'Marche Aux Puces' which provide character and comfort.

The are three large bedrooms and a cosier one for children or extra guests plus three bathrooms. The dining and lounge areas are quintessentially French, a large fireplace for the cooler months. Exposed are the the wonderful wooden beams and the famous local tuffeau stone previously mined from nearby cliff faces and used to built the famous Chateaux of the Loire. Large oriental carpets adorn throughout and there's a library and study on the mezzanine area. In summer, dining can be enjoyed alfresco with views of the inviting and rather large garden.

For larger groups there is also the option of an additional 'Guests House' situated opposite with its own fireplace and furnished with a grandfather clock and lovely Armoire. This can accommodate up to five guests.

Area: The main town of Tours is 30 minutes away however you are close by to all the major historic and important villages and towns such as Amboise, Langeais, Saumur and Chinon. In summer this area has a daily fresh food market nearby and numerous events. For children there are the night spectacles and attractions to discover the history of the region.

One of the highlights of the Touraine region is the local wine and fresh produce, renowned throughout France and the world for its quality. Many Parisian chef's await the products such as goat's cheese, prized chickens, mushrooms and Asparagus to arrive for their fussy Parisian customers. Your cooking experience will be enhanced in the lovely french style kitchen complete with all modern appliances .

Day trips to Paris are also convenient, 55 minutes via TGV. Modern Spacious Apartment, Tours — The top floor of this lovely house in Tours has been renovated into a modern two-bedroom apartment, suitable for either couples or a large family. It is easily accessible however there are two flights of stairs before entering into your private sanctuary.

Situated only minutes away for the city centre you can walk to most attractions in Tours and dine in the many surrounding cafes and restaurants. The street is quiet however has ample parking off-street parking.

An antique bed is the main feature in the master bedroom complete with its own ensuite. A small private office area that is 'wired' and a smaller room suitable for another guest, This rooms features an exposed additional bathroom.

A charming Hotels with a very 'Hamptons' feel. — This small boutique hotel is situated on the banks of the Loire and in one of its prettiest villages, Montsoreau. If you can be there for the 'Brocante' held every 2nd Sunday in the month, you're sure to find a treasure or two. This is a very tranquil area close by to historic towns and villages. The hotel has only 11 rooms and is 12 minutes to the centre of Saumur.

Rooms are spacious, decorated with what may be described as 'shabby chic". Swim all year round as the pool is heated and while the garden is small its perfect for an afternoon read. You will need a car (or velo) to explore this area as you are not close by to transport facilities. There are two respected restaurants close to the hotel, La Licorne at Fontevraud-L'Abbaye and Diane de Méridor in Montsoreau. Close by attractions include the Abbaye Royale at Fontevraud, Cadre Noir de Saumur, the National French Riding School, vineyards and a various hillside cave dwellings (Trogloydytes) are scattered in the slopes and cliffs of this region.

Another Jewel in the Loire - Chateau D'Artigny — This extremely beautiful chateau was once home to the famous perfume maker, François Coty. One of the only chateaux in the Loire that can boast a spa and beauty salon, as well as tennis courts and a swimming pool. Close by is a wonderful horse riding centre and golf course. In the summer months breakfast is served on the grand terrace. Afterwards, why not explore the meticulous 'Jardin a la Française' or venture deep into the 65-acres of woodlands.

The nearest town, Montbazon, is home to a wonderful little bistro, 'La Chancelerie' that refused its Michelin star preferring just to get on with serving wonderful French cuisine. Chateau de Cande (where the Duke of Windsor and Wallis Simpson married) is a short five minute drive as are other main towns of the Loire, Tours, Amboise, Saumur for shopping and sightseeing.

Domaine de Beauvois — Hunters and nature lovers will be right at home, surrounded by more than 140-hectares of forest, you're sure to see a 'sanglier' or two.

Hotel: Parts of the building dates back to the 16th century and, as you would expect, lots of history. Once owned by Duke Charles Albert de Luynes a favourite of King Louis XIII, both keen hunters I'm sure, its quite an exclusive setting. The area is relatively secluded so you will have a real sense of a country stay. No shortage of wonderful scenery (Beauvois meaning lovely view)and modern comforts such as wifi, flat screen TVs. For leisure, tennis court, heated pool, fishing on the lake, bicycles, bowls and of course long walks in the forest.

Rooms: Ranging from a traditional, superior, deluxe or a grand suite. All complete with charming period and antique pieces and rich flowing fabrics. For wine lovers there's a very extensive cellar with some vintages dating back 100 years.

Le Prieuré — Nestled between the villages of Angers and Saumur you will find this ancient Benedictine Priory that has been converted into elegant rooms, most with spectacular countryside views of the Loire Valley. The main building, the manor house was built in the 12th and 16th century.

Rooms: A little more space is offered in both the rooms in the Priory and in the external lodge. The suites boasts carved stone fireplaces and some, heirloom pieces and balconies. For a more rustic, country style stay there are 15 rooms located in the park, all with ground floor access and a few minutes from the main building. While a small hotel of only 30 rooms, you can choose to dine in the restaurant for the evening meal, where you can further enjoy views, courtesy of the large bay windows.

Area: Within the grounds have a swimming pool, tennis court and mini-golf. Should you wish there are several themed events such as a 'Gastronomy Package'. The Chateau Saumur and Chateau d'Angers are rich in history and special places to visit.

Le Choiseul - in the heart of a medieval village — You are only minutes away from one of the most majestic and historical chateaus of the Loire, 'Chateau d'Amboise'. The last resting place of Leonardo da Vinci, the Clos Lucé is also a short walk. Now, to your accommodation.

Hotel: An intimate hotel, very much french 'l’art de vivre', there's lots of life in this hotel, don't expect any white wash walls but a celebration of colour and florals. The Hotel's restaurant has a Michelin star and the menu focuses on fresh produce from nearby farms and cuisine known as Tourangelle. In the summer months enjoy swimming in the hotel's heated pool and in winter, a roaring fireplace.

Area: Amboise has a small selection of quaint shops and several bistros situated alongside and around the chateau. A car will be necessary to explore other towns and villages or you could choose one of the many bus tours available.

Rooms: Expect period furniture, some rooms have a private terrace and most have views of the Loire or garden area. The traditional rooms are a little small so for comfort a Superior will provide just that little bit extra space.
